Skit on Fire Safety
Student members of the safety club presented a skit on fire safety during the morning assembly programme of the middle department.
In the skit, students talked about a fire incident that took place in one of the building and what precautions were while evacuating the building safely with no loss of life. The presentation entailed various aspects of evacuation plan, using of fire extinguisher, calling the fire brigade, using of cold towels and blankets during fire etc. Students also took pledge of following the fire safety rules and using the appropriate exit plan during fire.
Presentation on Fire Safety
Student members of the safety club gave presentation on fire safety to the students of class VI in the Month of July 2019. All eight sections of class VI were covered. The aim of the presentation was to sensitize students on the need for inculcating the importance of fire safety rules. The presentation entailed various aspects of fire like how fire occurs and spreads, what is fire tetrahedron, use of fire extinguisher, evacuation plan etc. Students were also guided on how one can prevent loss of life by following the fire safety rules and using the appropriate exit plan during fire. Students were also asked to share the knowledge gained during the presentation with their parents and take proper fire safety measures at home.
