Independence Day is a momentous occasion when a nation attained freedom from its oppressors. 15 August is the day when we celebrate our hard-fought freedom from the shackles of the British Raj. The nation pays homage to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our independence.
It was a matter of immense pride and infused in every Indian a strong feeling of patriotism as we celebrated our 75th Independence Day.
Bal Bharatians commemorated the joyous occasion through the virtual platforms. Young patriots enthusiastically participated in the most important national event of the country. The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the Indian tricolour by our honourable Principal, Sh. L V Sehgal. The unfurling of the flag filled our hearts with pride as we remembered our true superheroes. The week-long celebration included special theme based virtual assemblies, rendition of patriotic songs, captivating dance performances and art and craft activities which depicted the significance of freedom while evoking love for the Motherland in each child.
