The farewell, 'C'est LaVie' (This is life) was hosted by students of class XI for the outgoing XII class. There were enthralling music and dance items; a presentation by the headboy Varun Sharma (XI C) and headgirl Riya Khanna (XI B); and the most applauded segment, the citation ceremony in which 40 students received sashes.The programme ended with the thumping notes of a 'dhol' and the catchy tunes played by the DJ which made the audience join the hosts on stage.
The Annual Staff Gathering 'Memorable Melodies' was organised by the Parent Teacher Association on 28 December 2015, in the auditorium. The versatile popular singers held the audience spell bound with captivating musical medleys. Mr LR Channa, President, CES and Chairman of the school; Dr VK Ahuja, Vice President, CES; Mr RK Gupta, Hony. Secretary, CES; Mr Inderjit Ahuja, Member, Board of Management; Ms Meenu Goswami, Secretary (Manager) of the school and Principal, BBPS, Pitampura; Principals of other units of BBPS; and members of the Managing Committee attended the programme which concluded with a sumptuous lunch for all.
The school organized the Winter Carnival on 20 December 2015. There was a potpourri of stalls and activities, such as, Raffle draws; Rides; Baby Show; Bingo by School's Alumni; DJ etc. The School Band in addition to individual and group live dance and musical performances by students enchanted the audience. PR Campus presented a musical Parade consisting of three segments – students dressed as characters from fairy tales and popular cartoons; another group through their presentation urged the audience to follow traffic rules; while the last group created awareness regarding pollution.

On the eve of Winter Carnival i.e, 19 December 2015, the Parent Teacher Association organised a contest 'Spotlight – The Cultural Walk' in the school auditorium. The contest was an endeavour to invite students & their family members to showcase their style quotient. Participants consisted of students in the age group of 4 to 14 years, their parents, grandparents, sibling & cousins. The contestants walked the ramp in their chosen categories. Winners in each category were awarded attractive prizes.
Emergency Evacuation Drill was conducted in the PR campus on 1 December 2015 to provide practice in evacuating the school building in an emergency without any causality. The staff was briefed about the evacuation plan in advance. At the sound of the hooter, students were safely escorted to the designated safe areas.
Children's Day Programme was organised by Primary Department (PR Campus) on 20 November 2015. The occasion was graced by the presence of the German delegation visiting the school as a part of Robert Bosch Exchange Programme; the Principal, Mr L V Sehgal; Headmistresses, Ms Sunita Gehani and Ms Rajni Karamchandani; PTA members; and parents of the participants. The programme commenced with Ganpati Vandana, followed by a Patriotic song by the school choir. Around 40 Students of classes I to III presented a vibrant Rajasthani folk dance. An Art competition was also organised for the students of classes I to III by the PTA. The best three entries of each section were awarded Certificates. Chocolates were distributed to all students by representatives of PTA.
The Investiture Ceremony was held on 18 November2015. Retd Air Marshal Shri Naresh Verma, presently Director, India International Centre, ND graced the occasion as the chief guest. The audience included parents of the appointees, PTA members and Proctorial Committee. The programme consisted of cultural items followed by bestowing of honours on the new appointees. Amidst much applause, Air Marshal Verma handed over the sash and badge to each of the office bearers. The older council relinquished responsibility to the new council and they pledged to preserve the pride of the school. Amidst the beat of drums,Varun Sharma, the headboy and Riya Khanna, the head girl held aloft the school flag and marched their team forward.The chief guest and Principal addressed the appointees speaking words of encouragement and inspiration.
The Sports Day for classes IV to X was held on different days for each class from 7 to 27 November 2015. The programme began with the Morning Assembly which consisted of chanting Mantras, Meditation, Yoga, Mass PT and the Oath Taking ceremony. The sports events for the day included Shot Put, Volley Ball, Throw Ball, Table Tennis, Long Jump, Basketball, Badminton and Chess. Students specially enjoyed participating in the Fun Games which included Sack Race, Three Legged Race, Shuttle Race and Spoon & Lemon Race. These events were conducted in separate categories for boys and girls. Students were also shown an inspirational movie on Sports. Winners were awarded certificates in the Morning Assembly programme.
Sports Fair 2015 was organised for the students of Pre Primary on 4 November 2015. Attired in colorful dresses, all students participated in 5 different fun activities, namely,Crossing the Hurdle; Lemon and Spoon; Walking on Tyres; Ring the Cone; and Hungry Joker.
A Career Fair was organized on 16 October 2015 for students of classes IX to XII, in the school auditorium. Over 18 professional advisors and active practitioners guided and counselled students regarding different streams and professions in accordance with their aptitude and interest.
NIIT University under the wings of Alumni Association of the school, conducted a seminar to give an insight into various career options in the field of engineering.
The school organized Youth Parliament Competition on 21 August 2015 under the aegis of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Govt. of India. The young parliamentarians of the school, simulating the parliament in session skillfully debated and discussed various issues, such as Child Labour, Declining Sex Ratio, Terrorism, Swachh Bharat etc.. Emphatically voicing their opinions while maintaining the decorum of the House, the students displayed dexterity in taking decisions and passing meaningful laws that promote good governance.
The presentations and the proceedings of the Youth Parliament were judged by an eminent panel of judges, consisting of Mr Bratin Sen Gupta, Former MP Rajya Sabha; Mr. RC Mohante, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs; Ms Rajkumari, Supervisor, Physical Education, Directorate of Education. The judges appreciated the students for their competent consideration of various public issues and the judicious opinions formed thereon, besides giving suggestions for further improvement. The Vice Principal, Ms Geeta Gangwani proposed the vote of thanks.

A series of activities were held in school on 14 August 2015 as a part of the Independence Day celebrations. In the Senior department, Inter house Kabbadi matches were organized for Boys; selected students read out the Biographies and Inspirational speeches of various freedom fighters in all sections of classes IX and X, respectively. Students of Class VIII were engaged in Slogan writing focusing on National Movement; while Bookmark making activity was organized for students of class VI and VII. A documentary film on Indian National Freedom Movement was shown to the students of classes IV to X on Smart Boards to mark the significance of the day. A special assembly was organised at PR Campus wherein students presented a colourful cultural programme and paid tribute to the freedom fighters.
On 15 August 2015, the Independence Day programme commenced with the hoisting of the National flag by the Principal, Mr L V Sehgal. The audience sang National Anthem with great fervour. This was followed by a medley of patriotic songs presented by the school choir. Next, through an eloquent speech, the Head girl, Tanya Khattar highlighted the significance of the day and the Head boy, Lakshay Barala spoke about youth power. The Principal, in his address, emphasized upon the immense potential of children in contributing towards the progress of the Nation by being sincere and diligent learners. Kite flying competition was also organised to mark the occasion.
The Dramatics Club presented the play, Roshan Dara, based on the Dhola Maru story, a popular folk tale of Rajasthan, on 1 August 2015 in the school auditorium. It was enacted by 45 students from class IV to XII. Dr Suwarn Rawat, an alumnus of National School of Drama and PhD in Theatre, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Guest of Honour was the notable script writer of the play, Mr Kuldeep Kunal.
The audience included the distinguished, Mr L R Channa, President, Child Education Society and Chairman of the school along with Mrs Channa; members of the Managing Committee of the school, PTA and Alumni; parents of participating students and Literary Club Members; teachers and students of other schools; and the staff members of the school itself.
The school organised its annual inter-school event, PULSE 2015-16 from 5 to 7 May 2015 for class VII-XII. About 642 students from 15 schools participated in a unique gamut of competitions such as - Clash of Titans - Lets Debate it out; Goonj - A Classical Fusion Presentation; Hands on Experiment – PHYSASTIC; Management Dhamaka; Mathematical Tambola; Vaachnamritam Mantrochharan Pratiyogita; Face Off etc. The events were adjudged by various dignitaries and subject experts. Individual prizes were awarded to the winning schools. Bal Bharati Public School, Dwarka was declared the Best School. Tagore International bagged the overall second position. The event indeed, offered a perfect platform to the students to showcase their talent.
The superannuation ceremony of five stalwarts of BBPS GR, Ms Mamta Malik (HM, PR Campus), Dr (Ms) Meneka Sharma (PGT Sanskrit), Ms Shashi Bhatnagar (TGT Hindi), Ms Surat Sabharwal (PET) and Ms Rajlaskshmi Bhatnagar (Astt. Teacher) was held on 2 May 2015. These highly esteemed faculty members of Bal Bharati fraternity were felicitated by the school Management, PTA and Alumni Association with citations, mementos and planters. Principal, Mr. L V Sehgal wished the distinguished members of Bal Bharati Parivar, all the happiness and prosperity for future.
Adaptation programme for newly admitted children of Pre School was organized from 15 to 20 April 2015. A number of activities like magic show, art and craft activities, rhymes and stories were executed successfully. Students enjoyed the creative puppet show presented by the teachers on 20 April 2015. Snacks and toys were provided to students on each day.

The main objective of the drill was to familiarize and to give practice to smoothly evacuate the school building in case of emergency without causing any causality. The evacuation plan was prepared in advance and the entire staff was briefed about it. At the sound of the hooter, the entire staff safely escorted the students to the school playground. The drill was a great success.
The school celebrated World Earth Day with a special morning assembly on 23 April 2015. The programme commenced with a thought for the day, which expressed the urgency of becoming stewards of our planet and protecting it from adverse influences. Udit Vaish , the Deputy headboy, in his address spoke about the significance of the occasion. Vanshika Sharma, the Deputy headgirl, delivered a speech on transformative initiatives of the Government in the context of 'Swach Bharat, Clean Ganga and Beti Bachao'. A skit based on the dire need to cut vehicular pollution was enacted. Placards with messages on preserving our planet were held aloft. Finally a pledge to save Mother Earth was administered. The day reinforced our commitment to do our bit for the ailing planet.
Under the aegis of SPIC MACAY, a week-long cultural fest was organised from 15 to 21 April 2015 . Composer and sitar maestro Pt. Shubhendra Rao, a protégé of Bharat Ratna awardee Pt. Ravi Shankar graced the occasion on 16 April 2015 for lecture-cum-demonstration session. His mesmerizing sitar recital of raag 'natt bhairav' was followed by an interactive session. Students put up thought-provoking questions to Pt. Shubhendra Rao about his music and achievements. A workshop on Madhubani Art by Mr. Saroj Jha was organized for students from 15 to 21 April 2015. Students participated enthusiastically in learning the traditional art form and displayed their creativity. An enlightening session on Holistic Food was also organised by Mr Ravikanth Chaudhary on 21 April 2015. Overall, the event was deeply informative and provided an intellectual insight into India's rich traditional past.
The school celebrated its Annual Day and Prize Distribution Function on 11 April 2015. The Chief Guest was Ms Padmini Singla, IAS, Director (Education), Government of NCT Delhi while Mr Shrivardhan Trivedi, "Sansani" Fame Anchor & Eminent Theatre Artiste graced the event as the Guest of Honour. Presence of Mr LR Channa, Chairman of the school and President, Child Education Society (CES); Dr V K Ahuja, Vice President, CES; and Ms Meenu Goswami, Secretary (Manager) of the school and Principal, BBPS, Pitampura, added to the grandeur and significance of the occasion. The Principal, Mr L V Sehgal in his address emphasized the school's commitment to provide education for values. An impressive Audio Visual Presentation highlighted the activities and achievements of the school and students during 2014-15. About 100 students received Prizes in various categories in both Scholastic and co- Scholastic areas. The Vote of thanks was proposed by Ms Geeta Gangwani, the Vice Principal. The cultural extravaganza for the day comprised a rich amalgamation of enthralling music, dance and drama items. An Exhibition of Photographs besides an Art and Craft Exhibition was also put up. Thus, the annual event, besides commending scholastic and co scholastic excellence in students, proved to be a mesmerizing visual treat for the audience.
Prayer and purification marked the commencement of the new academic session 2015-16. The Satrarambh Ceremony on 1 April 2015, commenced with lighting of the traditional lamp. The school Choir paid obeisance to Lord Ganesha & Goddess Saraswati with eloquent hymns. Dr Jyotsana Srivastava, TGT (Sanskrit) exhorted students to value the blessings of good education and model themselves as righteous individuals. This was followed by 'HAVAN' ceremony conducted by Pandit Lalit Prasad Mishra. The programme concluded with melodious Bhajans presented by the Ms. Archana (TGT Music) and Mr. Suman Jha (Astt, Teacher Music).
The Primary Department (GR) organized its Annual Orientation programme on 24 March 2015 to welcome students promoted to class IV and moving from PR Campus to GR Campus. Headmistress, Ms Meena Malhotra apprised the parents regarding academic and co-curricular activities for the Primary Department.
The Result Declaration ceremony for all departments of GR and PR campus was held on separate days from 20 to 31 March 2015. The Parent Teacher Association of the school felicitated the meritorious students for both scholastic & co-scholastic achievements. Parents attended the ceremony in large numbers. Result synopsis was shared with the parents.
Orientation Programme for Parents of Pre School was organized on 28 March, 2015 at GR Campus. The programme commenced with lighting of lamp and a prayer by the choir group of the Primary Department. Dr. Deepak Gupta, an eminent child & adolescent psychiatrist at Ganga Ram Hospital was the chief guest. In an interactive session with the parents, Dr. Gupta discussed the behavioural problems of young children and gave parenting tips to the audience. Principal Mr. L.V. Sehgal addressed the gathering, giving them a clear insight into the working of the school. An informative Presentation was given by Headmistress Ms. Rajni Karamchandani, highlighting the working of the Montessori department. An Enchanting dance performance was also presented by the Primary children. The programme ended with a vote of thanks & lunch for parents/guests.
Graduation ceremony for the outgoing class of the Montessori Department took place on 20 and 21 March 2015. The programme commenced with lighting of lamp by the Principal, Mr L V Sehgal. Cultural performances were presented by the children of both Montessori and Primary department. The young graduates looked very impressive taking the certificates in their graduation cloaks and hats. A Power Point Presentation informing parents regarding the working of Primary department was presented by the Headmistress Ms. Mamta Malik. Academic achievers of Pre Primary were honoured by the P.T.A members. The programme ended with vote of thanks followed by tea & snacks for the parents.
