In coherence with the thought shared above, the theme of this year’s G20 Summit is decided to be “VASUDHAIV KUTUMBHKAM- One Earth. One Family. One Future.”
This idea is celebrated across the nation through different mediums, education being the elemental source of its facilitation. Our school justified its fundamental principle ‘Strive to Strife’, by envisioning and organising all its activities circumscribing this global theme of oneness, mutual faith and brotherhood. The school proudly executed its 20th inter school mega event PULSE 2023 from 10 May 2023 to 12 May 2023. It witnessed an enthralling participation of more than 39 schools from across the city and national capital region. All the schools put forth the best of their talent in a plethora of activities organised, both in offline and online mode, in the three days event like Loktarang, Folk To Future, Swarnim Bharat, Mukha Mukham, The Economics Round Table etc. The Best School Award was secured by SRI VENKATESHWAR INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL.

Annual Class Cultural Presentation Of Class VIII
During the event, the students showcased the amazing work they have been doing throughout the year, as well as academic and co scholastic achievers were felicitated in the Prize Distribution Ceremony.

Overseas Education Fair in Association with Ikigaii Education Services
Bal Bharati Public School ,Gangaram Hospital Marg has oragnised an ‘International Education Fair 2023’. This event is specifically designed for the students of class XI and XII providing them with the opportunity to interact with representatives from reputed foreign universities and explore the advance study options available to them.

The event provided customised solution for every student who attended the fair to find the best fit course, admission requirements and application deadlines as per their requirement all under one roof. This fair helped students to discover opportunities for scholarships and financial aid too . The event was organised on a very huge scale wherein representatives of around 40 foreign universities of top repute gave their representation
Sumangal Satrarambh Ceremony 2023-24
Bal Bharatians commenced the new academic session 2023-24 with earnest prayers making it a momentous occasion. The significant ceremony was organized in the school campus on 3 April 2023. The journey of excellence commenced with Gurbani recitation and lighting of the traditional lamp. The auspicious occasion was graced by the Principal, Vice-Principal, Headmistresses, Chief-coordinators, Class-coordinators and members of the Students’ Council. Manglacharan, a spiritual prayer that radiated positive energy was also sung.
Dr Virender Kumar also explained the significance of ‘Satrarambh’ beautifully. This was followed by the Havan Ceremony conducted by Pandit Lalit Narayan Jha. All the students were spiritually uplifted through the ceremony. They sought blessings of Goddess Saraswati and were oriented to start afresh with positivity. The programme concluded with distribution of prasad followed by melodious bhajans.
Stargaze- Unity Walk
Keeping in with the objective, the Middle Department of the school organised STARGAZE UNITY WALK inviting young talented children to put forth their strengths and walk unanimously on the ramp. The event commenced on 12 December 2022 with the Montessori Department followed by Primary Department, PR Campus on 13 December 2022, Primary Department, GR Campus on 14 December 2022, Middle Department on 15 December 2022, Senior Department on 16 December 2022 and culminated with the Grand Finale on 17 December 2022. The event was graced by our revered Principal Mr L V Sehgal along with our eminent Vice Principal Ms Vinita Dhawan, Headmistress Ms Nita Nijhara, Chief Coordinator Ms Sapna Bahl, Headmistress Primary Department Ms Reetu Dawar and Ms Neelam Ahuja, Headmistress Montessori Department. The opening ceremony also witnessed the presence of the members of the Parent Teacher Association and the Alumni Association.
Soundscapes- Interschool Fusion Band Competition
The Middle Department of the school organised an inter school fusion band competition ‘SOUNDSCAPES’ on 17 December 2022 in the auditorium, with an aspiration to encourage the creative abilities of our learners. The event was graced by our revered Principal L V Sehgal along with our Vice Principal Ms Vinita Dhawan, Headmistress Ms Nita Nijhara, Chief Coordinator Ms Sapna Bahl, Ms Reetu Dawar, Headmistress PR Campus and Ms Neelam Ahuja, Headmistress Montessori Department. The event witnessed an enthralling participation from different schools across the city. The competition was judged by Mr Santosh Kumar Sandy and Mr Sandeep Dahiya, prolific western music teachers and renowned in their field. Bal Bharati Public School, Dwarka emerged as the Winner of the event followed by NK Bagrodia Public School, Rohini at the Second position and Indian Heights School, Dwarka at the Third position. The event
culminated with splendour and dazzle spreading smiles on all faces.
MUN Conference 2022
The 14 & 15 November, 2022 turned out to be a day of deliberation and discussion, when students of classes VII to XI simulated the roles of country representatives in the MUN conference held in the school premises. The first day of the Intra-BBPS MUN 2022 started off with the inaugural ceremony, during which our guests and alumnites, , Aarushi Dawar, Secretary General, Vrinda
Sharma, Co Chair UNHRC, Prakrat Gupta, Chairperson UNHRC, Suryansh Jain, Chair, DISEC, Sakshya Singh, Vice-Chair DISEC, were welcomed as members of the Executive Board. Kavya Singh and Priyal Gupta of Class XI took on the duty of Rapporteurs. In his welcome address, Principal Mr L V Sehgal inspired the delegates with his words of advice and direction. Thereafter Secretary General, Aarushi Dawar shared her feelings of presiding over the conference and also officially declared the meet open. During the UNHRC session delegates dealt with various aspects of the rights of the LGBTQ+ community with special emphasis on transgender rights. The session was made interesting with regular helpful inputs from the chair, who effectively guided the delegates. The Day 2 commenced with further interaction among the delegates,while debating and drafting resolutions. In the DISEC committee, the delegates deliberated upon how radicalism is rampant in society, and as all governments need technology to function cyber terrorism is the new norm for terrorists, They also discussed the negative impact of terrorism on today’s youth. Delegates took examples of historical events like WW2, and asked countries to join hands, as terrorism is a universal problem. On Day 2 of DISEC, the delegates continued deliberating upon the impacts of cyber- terrorism, and how it is destroying the world economy and infrastructure.
After both the committees were adjourned, the action moved to the closing ceremony venue. Manya Soin and Sukriti Shrivastav, the emcees welcomed back the delegates. The suspense about winners was put to rest with the declaration of the results of both the committees. The International Press team members were honoured with certificates. Finally, the Chairperson Suryansh Jain declared the conference closed.
Financial Literacy Programme
FINANCIAL LITERACY PROGRAMME
The ‘Financial Literacy Day’ was celebrated on 23 November 2022 to mark the culmination of a four-month long Financial Literacy Program for Girls,from July to October 2022. The Chief Guest for the day was Mr.Raman Kant Garg, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax Exemptions. Ms Nidhi Ahuja, a full time Social Worker (Vice President – Delhi State) at Sewa Bharati and also Director at Keshav Sehkari Bank was the guest of honour. Members of the Managing Committee also graced the event with their presence.
The event started with the lighting of lamp followed by a formal welcome of the dignatories. Ms Richa Gakhar- Convenor of the Financial Literacy Program for Girls gave an overview of the entire program- its objectives, scope and activities undertaken as part of the program. Glimpses of the program were shown through a PPT. The young and talented students of class III created a market scene to demonstrate the concept of money- identification of currency notes and its usage for exchange purposes. Erishka Grover of class IV F shared a poem on ‘Paison ka Mehtva’. An impressive and mesmerizing skit in consonance with the theme was presented by the girls of classes VI-VIII highlighting the importance of Financial Literacy for women. Mansi of X C presented a ‘Face Off’ on the topic ‘E-Business Vs Traditional Business’.
Prize winners of various events, held under the Financial Literacy Program during the year, were also felicitated in the ceremony.
The day concluded with the Chief Guest appreciating the school’s initiative in imparting Financial Literacy to girls and the impeccable flow of events. Vote of thanks was presented by Vice Principal, Ms Vinita Dhawan.
Disaster Management- Fire Evacuation Drill
With an objective to prepare our learners for any unforeseen adversity at any given point in time, the Disaster Management Committee of the school organized a Fire Evacuation Drill in the school premises on 30 September 2022. The evacuation plan followed was in compliance with the standard operating procedure followed across schools. All the students of the Middle Department were evacuated in an orderly
manner and moved towards the playground. They were also educated about the right use of the fire extinguisher in case of fire breakout in the building or wherever they are present.
Orientation Session for Classes IX & X
The Examination Incharge, Ms. Shailja Nagpal, conducted an Orientation Programme for parents of classes IX and X on 17 September 2022. The programme was followed by a presentation in which the latest Assessment System by CBSE was discussed and explained. The objective of the program was to enrich the knowledge regarding the changes taking place in Assessment Practices and aligning it to Competency Based Education. The Subject Experts responded to the queries in the Q & A at the end and were satisfactorily addressed.
