Satrarambh Ceremony 2025

The Satrarambh Ceremony for the academic session 2025–26 was held with great zeal and reverence at the Assembly Stage. The event commenced with a soulful Saraswati Vandana by Middle Department students, invoking divine blessings for wisdom and learning. This was followed by a serene Manglacharan by Senior Department students, setting a spiritual tone for the event. The ceremonial Deep Prajwalan was led by Principal Mr. L.V. Sehgal, signifying the triumph of light over darkness.
Dr. Virender Kumar Sharma addressed the gathering, inspiring all with his words on the importance of focus and positivity. A sacred Hawan was then performed in the presence of senior faculty and administrative members, seeking blessings for a fruitful academic year. Students from Pre-Primary to Class XII witnessed and participated in the ceremony with devotion. The school’s music faculty enhanced the divine atmosphere with a Bhajan Mala. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of Prasad, symbolizing harmony and shared blessings, marking an auspicious beginning to the new session.

Orientation for Pre Primary

Bal Bharati Public School, GRH Marg, successfully organized its Preschool Orientation Programme for the 2025-26 academic session on the 29th of March, 2025. The event was a warm and comprehensive introduction for new students and their parents, offering valuable insights into the institution’s educational philosophy, pedagogical approaches, and institutional culture. Through a series of interactive sessions, informative presentations, and constructive dialogue, the programme fostered meaningful connections between parents, teachers, and the school administration. The event effectively ignited a sense of excitement and curiosity among the young learners, setting a solid foundation for a collaborative and fruitful relationship between home and school. Parents expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to engage directly with faculty and staff, gaining a deeper understanding of the school’s vision, values, and approach to early childhood education. This occasion marked a significant milestone in the educational journey of our incoming students, ensuring their smooth transition into the school community with confidence and enthusiasm.

ACCP & Graduation Day 2025 of Montessori Department

The Montessori Department at Pusa Road Campus celebrated the Annual Class Cultural Presentation and Graduation Day on March 6 and 7, 2025, with the theme “Spreading Sunshine, Celebrating Kindness.” The event featured captivating performances, including a Welcome Dance, a soulful choir, and a delightful dance drama, “No Pain No Gain.” The Kindness Galleria promoted values of empathy and sustainability. The highlight was the Graduation Ceremony, where young learners received certificates with pride. The event concluded with a heartfelt farewell video, Principal’s address, and the National Anthem, leaving a lasting impact on all attendees.

Ashirvachan Samaroh 2025

Aashirvachan Samaroh, the formal farewell ceremony for the Class XII of 2025 was held on 12 February 2025. Welcoming the students with saffron tilak on their foreheads, the ceremony commenced in its characteristic traditional manner. Following the lighting of the lamp and floral tributes to Goddess Saraswati, the students were addressed by the Vice Principal, Ms Vinita Dhawan. Encouraging them to follow a healthy lifestyle to remain stress-free during the examination period, Ms Dhawan wished them good luck for the examinations. In her address, Ms Richa Gakhar, Academic Coordinator, shared useful tips for holistic wellbeing during exam time, while the Examination incharge, Ms. Shailja Nagpal gave insights into the changes in the CBSE examination 2025 and other useful tips to enhance examination scores.
The occasion also marked the formal release of the Yearbook 2025, which was created and curated by the present class XI for their seniors to treasure school memories forever. Additionally, the Head boy and Head girl of the class of 2024 – 25, presented a token of tribute to the school on behalf of their batch. The programme concluded with a vote of Thanks proposed by Ms Darshpreet Bedi, the Coordinator of class XI; and the handing over of the CBSE admit cards, along with individual copy of class-photograph to all the students by their respective class teachers.

Farewell Class of 2025

The school bid farewell to Class XII students with a grand event themed ‘Always and Forever.’ The ceremony featured speeches by the former Head Boy and Head Girl, cultural performances, a Ramp Walk and a dance by Class XI students. The students were honored with sashes and personalized cards.

Sanskrit Pradarshini 2024

Our school hosted the Sanskrit Exhibition, a grand celebration of the rich and ancient language. The event was graced by esteemed guests, including Dr. Jeetram Bhatt, Prof. Punita Sharma, Dr. Sunil Joshi, and Dr. Sushil Kumar. The program also witnessed the enthusiastic participation of Sanskrit teachers and students from various schools. Our respected Principal, Mr. L.V. Sehgal, and Headmistress, Ms. Nita Nijhara were present to guide and encourage everyone. The event featured a variety of cultural and educational activities highlighting the importance and beauty of Sanskrit. These included exhibits, recitations, and performances that showcased the profound heritage of the language. The Sanskrit Exhibition not only celebrated Sanskrit but also fostered a sense of unity and pride among the participants.

Soundscapes 3.0

Inter School Fusion Band Competition on 09 October 2024

On October 9, 2024, the vibrant halls of Bal Bharati Public School, Ganga Ram Hospital Marg resonated with the harmonious sounds of musical talent during the much-anticipated inter-school musical event, Soundscapes 3.0. This annual event has established itself as a platform for displaying the creativity and skills of young musicians from various schools.
With a line-up of diverse performances, expert judges, and enthusiastic audiences, Soundscapes 3.0 was a celebration of music and collaboration among students. The event was hosted aimed to foster a love for music and provide students with a platform to express their artistic abilities. The judges for the event were renowned instrumentalists: Mr. Dhruv Chopra, Mr. Roshan Raju, and Mr. Rahul Gaur, whose extensive experience in the music industry added credibility and excitement to the competition. The highlight of Soundscapes 3.0 was undoubtedly the variety of band performances that took place throughout the day. Each band brought its own distinct style, showcasing the diversity of musical influences among the participating schools. The variety of performances, coupled with valuable feedback from esteemed judges, created an enriching experience for both performers and spectators alike. As the event concluded, participants left with not only a sense of accomplishment but also with newfound inspiration to continue their musical journeys. The legacy of Soundscapes will undoubtedly live on, and with each passing year, it promises to
inspire even more students to pursue their passion for music, celebrate their creativity, and foster a collaborative spirit that transcends school boundaries. We eagerly anticipate the next instalment of Soundscapes, where we hope to witness even more extraordinary musical talent.

Splendour 2024

On August 31st, 2024, the Montessori department hosted ‘Splendour 2024 – A Sensational Fun Fair,’ welcoming 18 schools from across Delhi and NCR. The event designed to foster fun, openness, and inclusivity and featured a variety of sensory activities for preschool and pre-primary children. Esteemed dignitaries, including Mrs. Nanu Rekhi and Mrs. Vinita Dhawan, honoured the occasion. The day began with a vibrant cultural program followed by sensory exploration activities in dedicated visual, auditory, aroma, tactile, and taste rooms. Children were also delighted during the rock and roll sessions. Meticulous planning went into the event, covering everything from activity curation to venue decoration. The event culminated by taking the feedback from the participating schools.

Technovanza10.0

“Technology is best when it brings people together.” – Matt Mullenweg.

Technovanza 10.0, an interschool technology fest, took place with great enthusiasm and excitement on 10 October 2024 in the school auditorium. The event kicked off with a welcome address emphasizing the theme, “Step Ahead with Skills” and welcome of all the schools and participants who believed in blending technology with practical application.

After the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, The audience was taken on an immersive journey through a captivating multimedia experience, which delved into the significance of this year’s tech fest theme, “Step Ahead with Skills.” The event proceeded with the unveiling of an insightful audio-visual presentation, highlighting the key elements of the fest. Seven tech-savvy competitions organized this year were Gadget Gala: A Peripheral Adventure, Mark-e-thon, ArtSynth, AI Debate, and PyBot 4.0, along with two robotics events – Mud Race and Sumo Wrestling. These competitions aimed to foster technical expertise and innovation among participants.

The prize distribution ceremony honoured the hard work and achievements of the participants. Principal Mr. L V Sehgal, Vice Principal Ms. Vinita Dhawan, Headmistresses, Administrative Officer and the judges for each event awarded
trophies and certificates to the winners. The overall winner’s trophy was bagged by Bal Bharati Public School, Pitampura. It was a grand celebration of innovation, collaboration and creativity, leaving participants and attendees inspired for the future.

Investiture Ceremony 2024

Committed to holistic education, and nurturing leaders of tomorrow, Bal Bharati Public School, GRH Marg held the Investiture Ceremony on 2 August 2024 to induct the new team of office bearers of the Student Council for the academic session 2024-25. 

The school has a unique tradition of selecting office bearers for each of Its departments that is, Primary, Middle and Senior. Altogether, 46 office-bearers of the Student Council, with the support of a carefully selected team of prefects from each class will contribute in administration, discipline, and in carrying forward the traditions of the school. 

The eminent Additional Directorate General, NCC Delhi Directorate, Major General Sanjay P Vishwasrao, Sena Medal BAR,  graced the occasion, as the Chief Guest. The other special guests included distinguished officers of the Delhi Battalion, namely, Unit Commanding Officer Colonel Narendra Singh Yadav; Administrative Officer Lieutenant Colonel NK Rana; Administrative Officer Major Hricha Sharma, Honorary Captain Subedar Major Sukhbir Singh Sena Medal; and Subedar Major Ram Lal Bhamu. Others in the audience included representatives of the school’s PTA and Alumni Association, as well as the parents of Student Council for the session 2024-25.

The dignitaries, upon arrival, were given a grand welcome by the school band that played popular tunes, ‘Sare Jahan Se Accha’ etc. and thereafter, with a formal salute by the school’s NCC cadets. The programme, in the auditorium,  began with lighting of the ceremonial lamp, which was followed by a melodious rendition of Ganesh vandana and the school song by the choir. Next, a creative display – an amalgamation of stylized yoga and dance sequences set to the soulful song, Aashayein, contributed to setting the tone of vibrant enthusiasm that marked the occasion.

After a brief description of the meticulous and extensive selection process, the Investiture Ceremony commenced, presided over by the Chief Guest Major General Sanjay P Vishwasrao, Sena Medal BAR, and the Principal, Mr LV Sehgal. 

As the names of the office bearers were announced, they marched forward to the resounding beats of the drum, and were bestowed their badges and sashes. A change of guard followed, symbolising transference of duties and responsibilities from the old to the new team. 

Thereafter, the previous Headboy and Headgirl shared their learnings in their respective speeches. This was followed by acceptance speeches by the newly appointed Headboy Satwik Behl (XI B) and the Headgirl Navya Bhardwaj (XI E). 

Greeting the audience with a resonating ‘Jai Hind’, the Chief Guest applauded the new team, school’s values, and the principal’s leadership. Emphasizing that leaders are made, not born, he highlighted the importance of the NCC (National Cadet Corps). Asserting that true meaningful service to the society is essential for the well-being of humanity, he encouraged students to engage in activities beyond the classroom, specifically ‘desh seva’ and ‘samaj seva’. He passionately urged all to contribute in saving River Yamuna, the lifeline of Delhi. 

Thereafter, the Vice Principal, Ms Vinita Dhawan proposed the vote of thanks, in which she highlighted the school’s endeavour to promote ‘responsible citizenship at school and in the community’ among all learners. Singing of the National Anthem, marked the culmination of the scintillating ceremony.
