INTER HOUSE COMPETITION
HINDI HASYA KAVITA PATH
The Secondary Department of Bal Bharati Public School, GRH Marg, organized the Inter House Competition – Hindi Hasya Kavita Path on virtual platform,on 18 December, 2021. The Judges for the event were Ms Rajni Rathore, TGT Hindi and Ms Humaira Khan, Assistant Teacher Hindi. The Participants recited the poems with aplomb paying attention to diction and presentation. They recited humorous poems of eminent Hindi poets. The programme was appreciated and the participants’ performance was well lauded by all. It was a stiff competition and the winners are as follows:
First Position: Madhav Bhardwaj/ X C/ Shivaji House
Second Position: Sukriti Srivastva / X C/ Subhash House
Third Position: Posika Aggarwal / IX H/ Jawahar House
Surupnakha ki Naak was the title of Madhav’s poem which is written by Surendra Sharma the well-known humorous poet; and was recited in the same accent by Madhav. Sukriti from Subhash House had everyone in splits with her perfect emulation of Shail Chaturvrdi’s famous poem- Aankh Bayin Chal Gayi; where he talks about losing his control over his eye. Posika from Jawahar recited the poem- Ravan, based on a witty conversation between a common journalist Pyare Lal and The Epic Character Ravana by Dr Mohadutt Saathi.
INTER HOUSE COMPETITION
POEMSCAPE
An online Inter House Competition -Poemscape, was conducted on 15 November 2021, for students of Classes XI and XII. It was about reciting a self- composed poem, along with a video where another participant would depict the poem as a piece of art.
Three participants from each House participated and submitted their entries. One participant recited the self-composed lines of the Sonnet (14 line poem) and recorded it, while the second one depicted the essence of the poem in an artwork and the third participant merged the audio recording with the video to create the final version.

DEBATE- SOCIAL MEDIA NEEDS TO BE BANNED FOR TEENAGERS
Bal Bharati Public School,GRH Marg, Senior Secondary Department, organized a virtual Inter House Debate Competition on the topic ‘Social Media Needs To Be Banned For Teenagers’ on Saturday, 07 August,2021.The competition served its purpose of enhancing critical thinking among the participants who showcased some great public speaking skills with fluent speech delivery and poise . The winners are as follows:

INTER HOUSE COMPETITION
ROLE PLAY
The Secondary Department of Bal Bharati Public School, GRH Marg, conducted its first virtual Inter House Competition for the session 2021-22 on 7 August, 2021.
The activity was –‘Role Play’ based on the famous Shakespearean characters from the playwright’s plays. One participant from each of the eight houses showcased her histrionic skills, dressed up as the character and played the part for a maximum of two minutes. The Competition was judged by Ms Rita Sharma (TGT English) and Ms Puja Ahuja (PGT English). The winners are as follows:
First Position- Sukriti Srivastva / Subhash House/played the role of Helena
Second Position –Bhumika Rawat/ Ashoka House/ played the role of Hamlet
Third Position– Manya Soin / Abhimanyu House/ played the role of Lady Macbeth
The activity was much appreciated and enjoyed by the students and teachers alike.
