Teacher is considered to be an epitome of grace, selflessness and can motivate one to achieve great heights of success.
Teachers’ Day is celebrated each year on September 5 to mark the birthday of former President, scholar, philosopher, and Bharat Ratna recipient, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. To commemorate the legend and honour all teachers, a befitting tribute is provided on the momentous occasion.
Students of Bal Bharati Public School celebrated the invaluable contribution of the teaching fraternity towards the noble cause of educating young minds by organising special assemblies that included skits, commendable mono acts, delightful dance performances and soulful renditions. Creative activities like bookmark making and card making were conducted in different departments wherein students wrote heartwarming messages of gratitude for their teachers. Significance of teachers or gurus in the lives of students since times immemorial was talked about in the classes. The students made each teacher feel special, loved and respected for being ever-supportive, a guiding light and source of inspiration.
A special programme marking the glorious occasion was organised by the institution on September 5, 2022. The ever supportive Parent Teacher Association and the Alumni Association of our esteemed institution upheld the tradition of honouring the stalwarts who have completed 25 years of meritorious service in the institution for their commitment and dedication. The felicitation ceremony was followed by a Book Release programme in which the literary endeavours of upcoming talents in the field of writing from different departments were acknowledged and appreciated. Our Honourable Principal Sir addressed the august gathering and announced new initiatives for teachers as proposed by the Child Education Society.
A cultural spectacle ensued thereafter. The audience was captivated and enthralled by the mesmerising performances of students and multi-talented teachers. A special lunch by the institution was the icing on the cake.
