Percussion is a great way to work on your rhythm skills and get creative. The Performing Arts Club activity “Music and Body Beats” that was conducted for Class V students explored both PERCUSSION BEATS and MUSIC. The aim of this interesting activity was to encourage students where they learnt how to create music using their body parts and other household props. The Music teacher had taught them some beats pattern in their live classes wherein she explained how to make the music video using the six sounds - clap, snap, chest pat, thigh pat, cheek tap and any prop of our household items like cups, glasses, spoons, tin containers etc. to create a cool 4/any bar rhythm or Music. The students recorded videos of their own performances. The activity saw enthusiastic participation from all students of class five.
