Little Crafty Hands Club(2019-2020)

Crafty Plates
The club activity - Crafty Plates conducted on 28.11.19 was aimed at providing a platform to students to showcase their creativity and create masterpieces using material like disposable plates, paper cut outs and bindis etc.
The activity started with an explanation of the steps to be followed along with live demonstration. Children created India’s national bird, peacock by attaching disposable plates, and paper cutouts and decorated it with glitter, bindis  etc.
The activity concluded with the little hands holding their masterpieces with pride and excitement.
Reduce, Reuse and Recycle
The activity held on 24.10.19 was  aimed at making the students aware of the need for reducing , reusing  and recycling the available resources and also provide them an opportunity to showcase their artistic skills and creativity.
The activity commenced with an interaction on the theme - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. This was followed by instructions and   live demonstration by the club master. The children used an old CD, paper cutouts and colours to make a  beautiful fish. The activity was age- appropriate and the children found it  extremely joyful.
Paper Folding Craft

 

The students tried their hands on Paper Folding Craft using origami technique in the activity conducted on. 26.9.19. A video demonstrating the steps for making the paper doll was shown to the students. Thereafter they followed the club master, step by step and created

attractive Paper Dolls using craft material like origami sheet, satay sticks, wired sticks and  paper cuttings. All the children enjoyed the activity and participated with enthusiasm.

Puppet Fun 
The club activity held on 29.8.19 was aimed at sensitising the students towards the need to Reuse and Recycle. The craft activity was an attempt to teach them to skilfully reuse waste material to create beautiful crafts. The students made attractive puppets using old socks and craft material like googly  eyes, ribbon etc. The activity was thoroughly enjoyed by all the students who promised to make such toys at home.
Cutie Dragon Flies 

 

The club activity- Cutie Dragon Flies organised on 25.7.19 under the aegis of Little Crafty Hands Club, was yet another opportunity for the students to be their creative best. After demonstration by the club master, the students made a dragon fly using craft material like  ice-cream stick, hand-shaped cutout, wired sticks and googly eyes. The activity was a fun-filled experience and also helped  in enhancement of fine motor skills in students. It concluded with delightful faces displaying their masterpieces.

Crafty Sticks 
The Little Crafty Hands Club, which aims at nurturing the creativity in our young learners organised its first activity for the Session, 2019-20 on 25.4.19. The ice cream stick craft activity gave the students a platform to showcase their artistic skills. It commenced with a video tutorial.
The students made crafty crocodiles using an ice cream stick, chenille wires and a pair of googly  eyes. The outcome made the  children cheer with joy.
