Bal Bharati Public School, GRH Marg, held its Investiture Ceremony on 23 July 2025 to induct the newly elected Student Council for the academic session 2025– 6. Upholding its commitment to holistic education and leadership, the school appointed 47 office bearers across the Primary, Middle, and Senior departments, who, supported by class-wise prefects would contribute towards the school’s administration and programmes.
The ceremony was graced by Lt. General Mohinder Pal Singh, Yudh Seva Medal and Sena Medal awardee, currently serving as Director General, SD, Integrated Headquarters of MoD Army, as the Chief Guest. Other distinguished guests included Mrs. Meenu Goswami, Secretary Manager of the school, Chairperson of the CES School Advisory Council, and Director of the CES Impact Accelerator, along with PTA members, Alumni Association representatives, and parents of the newly appointed council.
The dignitaries were welcomed with special claps by the school’s Cubs and Bulbuls, an NCC salute, and musical tribute by the school band. The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a Saraswati Vandana, the school song, and a graceful yoga-dance performance, Shivay.
As a part of the formal investiture ceremony, the Chief Guest and Principal Mr. L.V. Sehgal conferred badges and sashes on the new leaders. The outgoing Head-boy and Head-girl shared reflections, followed by acceptance speeches by Aarav Parashar (XI C) and Smriddhi Shrivastav (XI B).
In his address, Lt. Gen. Singh hailed the school as a “centre of excellence” and urged students to dream big, build confidence, and lead with courage. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Vice Principal Ms. Vinita Dhawan, followed by the National Anthem.
