 Christmas Celebrations

On 22 December, the students of Abhimanyu House under the able guidance of Ms Sonia Sharma (1), Ms Jyoti Singh enacted and showed the birth of Jesus Christ, his teachings and his crucifixion in the form of a beautiful skit. Why and how the festival of Christmas is celebrated was told by one of the students which was followed by a mesmerising dance performance by the little dancers of our department. Melodious and soulful Christmas carols were sung by the choir.  The students in the audience and teachers too danced to the beats of peppy “Jingle Bells”. As cherry on cake Santa danced along and distributed toffees to each one present there and later went to the classes to distribute the same to the students of the Primary Department.

Inter House Clay Moulding

Primary Department (Class IV & V) organised an Inter House Clay Moulding competition on 21 December 2017. Students from each house created a beautiful composition using natural clay.  It was amazing to see little children create fascinating and splendid designs in the form of Lord Ganesha, Our national bird Peacock, Garden with birds, etc.

Inter-House Social Science Quiz

 

Inter-house Social Science Quiz was held in the Primary Department on 24 August 2017. Ms Shashi Sahni and Ms Alka Nagpal (TGT , Social Science) were the Quiz Masters for the day. Two children from each house participated enthusiastically displaying their knowledge and attentiveness.

Ashoka House secured the first position while Mother Teresa and Jawahar Houses bagged the second and third positions respectively.

 

Inter House Declamation Competition

 

Inter House Declamation Competition was held for the students of the primary department on 27 July 2017 on a contemporary and  important issue of today’s modern world ,”Pollution is robbing us of our Architectural Splendour”. Ms Meera Bhatnagar and Ms Priyanka Kakkar , the judges for the event were very impressed by the research and oratory skills of the speakers who spoke strongly about  the harmful effects of pollution on our heritage and monumental pride.
