We, at Bal Bharati Public School take security of our students very seriously and cyber security is of paramount importance in present scenario.As our endeavour in the same direction , school observed Cyber Awareness Month on 19 October 2022 . Three back-to-back engaging sessions of one hour each were conducted for students of classes VI-VIII respectively with a celebrated Cyber Expert- Dr. Rakshit Tandon. In these offline interactions, students gained first-hand information about digital well being and online safety. Dr. Tandon shared
a lot of real-life cases especially pertaining to the use of social media with the students to make them more aware about different types of cyber crimes and traps laid by online predators. One of the major highlights of the session was information about cyber laws for crimes committed by juveniles. These were well supported by recent news headlines. We hope such workshops will make students more aware and conscientious digital citizens .
