CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS 2020
Christmas is celebrated as the day of the birth of Christ into this world. The arrival of Jesus blessed us with the gift of salvation and opened doors to the significant truth of the spiritual life. He was born at a time when ignorance, superstition, greed, hatred and hypocrisy prevailed upon the land. Christ restored purity and morality among his people. He wilfully accepted to be the sacrificial lamb for the atonement of our sins.
Thus, a new era dawned on the world. The day is hence reminisced and celebrated to pay homage to the precursor of humanity. This Christmas once again gave us a chance to be thankful for the bountiful blessings of the Almighty.
The festive spirit of the season was marked by students of Bal Bharati Public School, GRH Marg hailing Christ and Mother Mary. The students enjoyed the most magical time of the year participating in a broad spectrum of fun-filled activities. They shared their joy through a virtual exchange of the Christmas celebrations. Adorned in crimson outfits, they made the best use of the fiesta by singing carols and created mini Santa using fruit carving and cutting techniques. The enthusiasts decorated Christmas trees in their homes and created beautiful artworks. The festivities truly fostered the values of community pride, compassion and celebration of life.
