NCC CARETAKER ORIENTATION TRAINING PROGRAMME
A 12 day NCC caretaker Orientation Training Programme was conducted from 15 to 31 December 2020 by Delhi Girls Bn in Kashmere Gate under the aegis of the NCC Gp HQ Rohini. Total 15 Caretakers attend this program including a teacher supervisor.
The opening address of the programme was given by Officiating Group Commander Col Pankaj Kumar Singh on 15 December 2020.
During the 12 days rigorous training, students learned military subjects like Weapon Training, Map Reading, Field Craft & Battle Craft, Drill etc.

RASHTRIYA EKTA DIWAS or NATIONAL UNITY DAY
The birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, also known as RASHTRIYA EKTA DIWAS or NATIONAL UNITY DAY, was celebrated on 31 October 2020 by the Heritage Club of the Middle Department through a series of activities. Students were seen taking Pledge with the utmost vigour, secularism and unity came alive through colours in Poster Making, resonating words were heard
when students recited self-composed poems and our emerging tech experts displayed their skills through PowerPoint Presentations projecting the Iron Man’s life.

INTER HOUSE COMPETITION
मेरी आवाज़ सुनो (Drama Competition)
An Inter House Drama Competition ‘मेरी आवाज़ सुनो’ was organized
virtually by the Middle Department of the school on 6 November 2020. The competition witnessed enthralling participation of all eight houses; one participant from each house. The theme for the competition was ‘VOTE EARTH’ which was astoundingly presented by all the participants. Shivaji House emerged as the winner followed by the Shastri house securing the second place and the Abhimanyu house securing the third place. Our young actors found an avenue to showcase their expressions despite distance and space.
Nothing can curb the indomitable instincts of an actor.

EARTH DAY
To sensitize the students about promoting clean living and a sustainable habitat for people Earth Day was celebrated on 22 April 2020. E generated posters, poems, picture collage and AV presentation demonstrating tips to keep our environment clean and safe were prepared.
WORLD ASTHMA DAY
To celebrate World Asthma Day, Best Club of the school organised a virtual activity for the students of the Middle Department entitled “ I Stand As An Asthma Warrior” .
The students participated virtually in various activities like ‘ Designing a Newsletter, Making a poster and Writing a poem’
