An Inter school creative skills competition-SPLENDOUR 2018 was organized by the Montessori department on 15th September 2018 at Pusa Road Campus.
Participants from 26 schools accompanied by their teacher escorts and support staff from all over Delhi and NCR took part in the event under five categories-Free hand drawing and colouring, Festive Bandhanwars, Creative faces, Character depiction and English Recitation. The judges invited for different categories were Ms. Meera Bhatnagar, Ms.Shoma Ganguly,Ms.Deepshikha,Ms.Reetu Dawar,Ms.Sapna Chugh and Ms. Shilpi Poddar Das respectively. The participants were judged for their performance on the basis of their content and creativity.
Ms. Meena Malhotra, our Vice-Principal and the Headmistresses Ms. Poonam Sondhi and Ms. S.Gehani graced the occasion by their presence. The prize distribution ceremony began by honouring the judges with a planter and a thank you card. The programme was followed by a colourful dance performance by Pre-Primary students. The vote of thanks was proposed by the Vice-Principal.
The participants were awarded based on their merit with a trophy and a certificate. The consolation position holders received a gift along with a certificate. This year an appreciation certificate with a gift was also given to one participant from each category. All the participants received a participation gift and a box of snacks.
A whopping participation by these prestigious schools culminated the event in a grand success and was appreciated by one and all.
